Hello friends! I’m Rebecca, and I started my career in 2009 right here in OB. I began as a solo Esthetician, working hard to master my sugaring skills on anyone who would hop on my table. I have slowly grown my business to cater to more local clients, and offer employment to a select crew of special ladies. I am very proud of the beautiful space and the team we have today, and I truly hope you all find your perfect Esthetician here with us and enjoy your experience each time you visit.

When I’m not at the spa, I am taking care of my 5 children! We like to escape to the trees, go out for ice cream, and enjoy movie nights at home.

I’m Raquel—esthetician since 2012, performing hair removal for over 11 years. My passion and love for sugaring began in 2019 with Rebecca at Swanky Sugar. I love the presence of others and believe in the importance of self-care and women’s empowerment. I love building a fun workspace and making sure everyone feels comfortable. Nothing feeds my soul more than when a client walks out saying “I feel like a brand new woman!”

I’m from a small town in the East Bay area called Discovery Bay. I grew up on the water and love boating, swimming, and wake surfing, but the mountains always feel like home, as snowboarding is my favorite! My hobbies include music, dancing, fashion, culture, travel, and hanging with friends, family, and little fur babies.

My name is Megan, I became an Esthetician in 2020 and have been with Swanky Sugar since! My love for sugaring started when it was introduced to me in Esthetics school. I knew right away that sugaring was for me! My favorite part of my job is creating a comfortable space where my clients can relax and leave feeling better than they came in. My goal every day is to empower and uplift my clients so when they leave they feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.

I am a San Diego native—although I’ve lived in other parts of the country I always end up coming home to San Diego. I love music festivals, traveling, being silly, and my two kitties Kenny and Vinny. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you with all your sugaring needs!

I’m Ruby! I’m from OB and have been interested in esthetics from a young age. I graduated from esthetics school in February 2023. My favorite part about my work is building connections with so many people and watching their inner confidence grow with every treatment. I’m a Taurus who loves cats, ducks, baking, music, and cross-stitching.

Hey my name is Thalia! I was born in SD and raised in Murrieta. I came back to SD to go to school at Bellus Academy in Poway. I wanted to start a career in Esthetics because I struggled with cystic acne years ago. I fell in love with the variety of treatments and techniques involved in the industry. Sugaring is such a fun hair removal technique, and I love the connections I can build with clients. I live in Ocean Beach with my fiancé. We have a miniature dachshund named Pumpkin and a black cat named Boogie. We all love going to the beach and watching my fiancé surf. Our favorite thing to do is binge shows/movies on the couch.
